Bibliobites Book Group
Bibliobites is a book group with a culinary focus. We read a combination of cookbooks, culinary memoirs, and Foodie fiction. We often pick a theme for a meeting and encourage members to try recipes related to the theme. We do not discourage members from bringing in those recipes for taste-testing! This month: Julia Child may have been the first TV chef, but she certainly wasn't the last! Between PBS, Food Network, America's Test Kitchen, and relative newcomers like YouTube, the choices are varied and almost limitless. So, this month's theme is Food Network Festival! At the circulation desk, select from a cart full of books written by TV chefs, or choose your own title. Is TV fame a guaranteee of fabulous recipes? We'll find out!
