Please join us for a Book Club for children in grades 3 - 5.  Each week kids will be expected to read several chapters from a chosen book.  Each book will be completed over the course of several weeks.  Books will be available at the Circulation Desk at the Chelmsford Public Library.  Each week participants will engage in discussions, games and fun activities related to the book that the group is reading.  A good time is had by all!  Registration is required.  The Zoom link will be emailed in the early afternoon on Tuesday.  For more information feel free to reach out to Deborah in the Children's Room at dmorrissey@chelmsfordlibrary.org

We will finish reading the book Fatty Legs:A True Story by Christy Jordan-Fenton and Margaret Pokiak-Fenton. This is a true story about  a courageous Inuvialuit girl who stands up to the bullies and speaks her mind. ("Inuit is a group of culturally similar indigenouse peoples inhabiting the Artic and subartic regions of Greenland, Labrador, Quebec, Nunavut, the Northwest Territories, and Alaska.") For this weeks meeting, please finish the book, Chapters 6 and 7 and "After the Story" and "The Schools."  Copies of the book are available at the Circulation Desk at the Chelmsford Public Library.
