The Traveling Librarian presents Laos

LAOS – LUANG PRABANG - Join Reference Librarian Jeff Klapes, ‘The Traveling Librarian,’ for an armchair traveler’s journey to rarely visited Laos. We'll focus on the northern part of the country, specifically the town of Luang Prabang, a UNESCO heritage site packed with gorgeous temples and traditional food, markets, and lifestyle. We'll also explore some of the sights along the Mekong River, the lifeblood of the region. Jeff is the recently retired Head of Reference Services at the Lucius Beebe Memorial Library in Wakefield, Massachusetts, and an avid traveler and photographer.
