This presentation is all about sowing, harvesting and storing seeds. Audience members will learn about all types of seed starting as well as which seeds to harvest and how to store them to add to your sustainable life.

About the presenter:

Kate Donovan helps clients grow food through lectures, garden planning, soil testing, tilling, and building raised beds.  She’s the founder of a 69,000-member Facebook gardening group called “Vegetable, Fruit, Herbs and Flower Gardening.”  Kate maintains seven extra-long raised beds, considers her home her horticulture laboratory, and tries new varieties and techniques every year

At Blackstone Valley Veggie Gardens, our mission is to inspire others to grow their own fresh produce. We deliver residential and community based training, consulting, and assistance in vegetable garden. We are dedicated to the belief that most people should have the knowledge and opportunity to grow wholesome fruits and veggies in containers, raised beds, or in-ground gardens.
