Will Humans Achieve Interstellar Travel? Have we already done it with spacecraft like Voyager 1 and Voyager 2? What would it take to send a spacecraft on a journey of four light years to our nearest neighboring star? Join NASA Solar System Ambassador, Caity Sullivan, as we ponder the possibility of being able to travel into interstellar space, and learn about the accomplishments of space exploration thus far.
Caity has been a NASA Solar System Ambassador since 2018, and an astronomy educator at the Charles Hayden Planetarium since 2015. She's incredibly passionate about all things related to the cosmos, but takes particular interest in areas like star formation, supernovas, and black holes. Her nerdy interests extend into her free time, when she enjoys playing video games, dungeons and dragons, and board games!
