Climate Conversations: Fundamentals of Energy

Climate Conversations: Fundamentals of Energy

Mike Simons has been involved in building performance for 10 years. From running over a thousand Mass Save energy audits to training over 150 energy auditors he learned how homes work, and knows how to fix them. He was part of the launch team of two energy efficiency companies. The first being a Home Performance Contractor (HPC) that has since grown to be the second largest in Massachusetts. His current employer, Abode Energy Management, has him doing what he does best, developing/providing comprehensive training related to energy efficiency. Whether serving as a BPI Proctor Mentor, teaching emerging professionals building science, or making heat pump design understandable, Mike tries to put the Fun in Fundamentals of Energy!

Join members of the Chelmsford Climate Action Team (C-CAT) and the Massachusetts Chapter of Elders Climate Action for discussions and action to address climate change in our community.

Climate Conversations is an informal group sponsored by CCAT and the Chelmsford Public Library. We meet on the second Thursday of each month using Zoom to share our concerns about Climate Change. Public invited. Meetings most often include guest speakers. We share a commitment to climate legislation, advocacy and education in our community to prevent the harmful effects of climate change and protect our planet. Please reach out to us if you have any questions or concerns or wish to become active in CCAT. More information can be found on the Chelmsford Climate Action Team website.
