Janine Penfield has dabbled in the field of Genealogy since 2006 after graduating as a non-traditional aged college student and was armed with language (French) and research skills. Janine is currently the Registrar of Old Concord Chapter NSDAR, joining under French-Canadian patriot, Charles Racine. Concurrently, she is Lineage Research Chair for Massachusetts DAR 2019-2022. Janine was an at-large board member for American-Canadian Genealogical Society in Manchester, NH, and Recording Secretary for Massachusetts Society of Genealogists, Inc. She earned a certificate from Boston University’s Genealogy Studies Program. Janine holds a BA in Art History from Wellesley College. Her other interests include golf and travel, especially to walk in the steps of her ancestors.
