SUMMARY:Annual Apple Pie Contest
DESCRIPTION:The Apple Pie Contest is back!  \n\nBakers - register to make a 
 pie for judging (Recipe must be submitted\, crust must be handmade\, only 
 apples)\n\nJudges are representatives from Chelmsford!\n\nThere are lots of 
 pies to taste\, some voting for fun and the event is supported by the 
 Friends of the Library.\n\nSCHEDULE:\n\n• Contestants pre-register 
 online\n\n• Contestants bring pies by 1:00 p.m.\n\n• Judging will begin 
 at 1:30 p.m.\n\n• The general public will then be invited at 2:00pm to 
 feast on apple pie\, vote for people's choice award\, and vote for best 
 staff-made pie. (You do not have to register to come.)\n\n• Winners will 
 be announced following the judging with ribbons and prizes 
 awarded.\n\nRULES:\n\n• All pies are to be homemade\, with a homemade 
 double crust.\n\n• Filling is to be just apples (no raisins\, 
 cranberries\, etc).\n\n• Recipe must accompany the pie\, including the 
 type of apple(s) used.\n\nCOME AND JOIN THE 
 FUN............\n\n*Registration is only for people wanting to bake a pie 
 for judging (we have a limit of 20).
