Junk Journal

Junk Journal

DIY Upcycled Journal

Creativity and journaling are ways for us to reflect, process and heal from life’s experiences. Research has shown that being creative can help us reduce stress, improve memory and enhance comprehension.

In this free program you will learn how to use everyday paper items to make your own personalized journal. We will be measuring, cutting, gluing and sewing. Supplies will be provided, but if you’d like to contribute, then you may do so by bringing along any unwanted patterned papers, magazines, calendars, notebooks, greeting cards, envelopes, junk mail envelopes, etc.. For privacy purposes, please remember to remove any addresses beforehand.

This program is best suited for teens and adults.
