Backyard Birdscaping

Backyard Birdscaping

Step up your game and attract more birds and more species of birds to your backyard. This presentation reviews various feeder types, food types, and the importance of natural live and dead cover for birds. Diversifying your backyard with food, cover and water will have the birds in your yard ... and not your neighbor's yard.

Bio - Steve Hale has been giving slideshow presentations that showcase his research in the White Mountains of New Hampshire and his far afield birdwatching trips for more than 20 years. Steve holds university degrees in marine biology, evolutionary biology, and ecology.  He has lived in New Hampshire over 20 years and has explored most of the state.  An avid hiker, birder, and experienced naturalist, Steve loves to share his experience and knowledge with others. In 2016, Steve founded Open World Explorers through which he offers presentations and guided birdwatching excursions for group and private tours.
