Writing for Self-Compassion
In this one-session workshop, we'll read poems about tenderness and joy, then practice writing together from prompts. We'll experiment with timed writing to capture those moments of kindness, which can often seem so fleeting, as well as the act of writing itself as a form of self-compassion and self-care in these difficult times.
Though there is no pressure to do so, attendees will be invited to share the writing they generate for positive, supportive feedback. This workshop is ideal for seasoned writers or those looking to spark a poetry or journaling practice.
