ASL Conversation Circle

ASL Conversation Circle Online

Registration is required. There are 14 seats available.

This informal conversation group is open to anyone who wants to learn or improve their knowledge of American Sign Language. All skill levels welcome!

We try to keep our voices off for the entirety of the meeting. Don't know a sign? Fingerspell it! We will learn it together.

This group is led virtually by Ratheesh Chelakkattu, a native signer and Deaf ASL tutor.

See our ASL Conversation Circle digital notebook for meeting agendas and additional resources.

We are also interested in centering the knowledge and life experiences of d/Deaf and hard-of-hearing people. If you or someone you know identifies as d/Deaf or hard-of-hearing and would like to help facilitate the circle, please let us know by contacting Nancy McMenemy-McColm via email at nmccolm@chelmsfordlibrary.org or by phone at (978) 256-5521, x1119.
